South Wins 2008 Senior Bowl « Result #2 on Jan 27, 2008, 1:05am »
In the most thrilling Senior Bowl finish in history and the first to be decided on the game's final play, Florida's Andre Caldwell scored on a two-yard touchdown run as time expired and Georgia kicker Brandon Coutu kicked the extra point to give the South a 17-16 victory.
Tennessee quarterback Erik Ainge led the South on a 14-play, 86-yard drive in the game's final 2:48 to give the South its first win in four years.
Tulane's Matt Forte was the game's leading rusher with 59 yards and caught four passes for 38 yards, including a key 13-yard reception on the game's winning drive to win the overall Most Valuable Player award.
Other MVP's were Ainge for the South offense and LSU linebacker Ali Highsmith, who had four tackles for the South defense. Michigan's Chad Henne threw two TD passes to win MVP honors for the North offense and USC's Sedrick Ellis had two tackles, a sack and was credited with a North safety to earn the North's defensive MVP honors.

All American Football League « Result #3 on Jan 27, 2008, 1:02am »
So there is yet another new football league out there. Six teams but 5 are in the south while Michigan has the lone North team, none on the west coast. Will it last or could it become the NFL's verson of the NBDL. Time shall see but here are the first ever AAFL draft results: http://www.allamericanfootballleague.com/2008_AAFL_Draft_Round_by_Round.pdf

MLB in China « Result #4 on Jan 27, 2008, 12:57am »
The Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres are playing in china in a two game seris March 15 and 16. Thats great and all but they should have had Seattle and the Yankees playing since Ichiro Suzuki is probably the most popular and well known asin player in the Majors while the Yankees are a big draw everywhere. I can only see two west coast team going due to travel times and cost.

Best CBB team « Result #7 on Jan 25, 2008, 5:19pm »
Who is your #1? Kansas, Memphis, and UNC seem to be about equal but ahead of the rest of the pack. I vote for Kansas simply because UNC has lost a game and hasen't looked good in close wins over the last couple weeks. Memphis is unbeaten but hasen't blown the doors off teams the way Kansas has done. Kansas is unbeaten and has beaten teams by an average of 21 PPG. If you look at H2H matchups Kansas beat OU by 30 while Memphis only won by 10. Memphis may be more exciting to watch simply because Kansas usually has a team beat by halftime.

Super Bowl « Result #10 on Jan 25, 2008, 5:03pm »
While there will be a Brady vs Manning match up it's not the one everyone wanted to see. We don't get two powerhouse teams playing for it all. Instead we get the pursuit of perfection vs the wildcard team. While this doesn't make for a high profile match up it should be better than most think. The giants are playing great lately and Brady is somewhat slowed. That could be just enough to make it a last possession kind of game.
